1、 Purpose:
The roughness block is a working measuring tool that uses visual and tactile methods to compare the surface roughness of machined mechanical parts. By comparing with the tested workpiece through visual inspection or magnifying glass, the surface roughness level can be determined, providing guidance for designers to intuitively feel and shape characteristics of specific processing methods and roughness levels. It can also be used as a mechanical visual teaching tool for colleges and universities. Its characteristic parameter is the arithmetic mean deviation Ra value of the surface contour. It meets the technical requirements of GB6060-2.3.4.5 and the verification regulation JJG102. The production varieties and specifications are shown in the attached table.
2、 Materials and specifications:
(1) Comparison of surface roughness of machined samples: except for the ground sample, which is made of GCr15 material, the rest of the samples are made of 45 # carbon structural steel.
Comparison of surface roughness for machining: Sample size: divided into five types
1. Eight sets of surface roughness comparison blocks (outer circle, planing, end milling, flat milling, flat grinding, outer grinding, grinding, boring inner hole)
2. Seven sets of surface roughness comparison samples (lathe, planer, vertical milling, flat milling, flat grinding, external grinding, grinding)
3. Six sets of surface roughness comparison samples (lathe, planer, vertical milling, flat milling, flat grinding, external grinding)
4. Laptop style surface roughness comparison block (lathe, vertical milling, flat milling, flat grinding, external grinding, grinding)
5. Single group surface roughness comparison block: (outer circle, lathe, planer, boring machine, inner hole boring, end milling, vertical milling, flat milling, flat grinding, outer grinding, grinding, inner hole grinding, outer circle grinding, boring machine, hand grinding, polishing, filing)
6. Double group surface roughness comparison block: (flat milling end milling, planer flat grinding, car outer circle grinding outer circle, boring inner hole grinding inner hole, filing and polishing)
(2) The other surface roughness comparison block materials are nickel alloys, which are replicated using electroplating technology. The process is stable in quality, with a full range of varieties and specifications. The product has high hardness, good performance, rust and other characteristics, making it particularly suitable for production sites.
1. Comparison sample of surface roughness for sandblasting processing:
2. Comparison block of surface roughness during shot blasting processing
3. Comparison sample of surface roughness during polishing processing
4. Comparison of surface roughness of cast steel sand mold blocks
5. Comparison of Surface Roughness of EDM Wire Cutting Blocks
6. Comparison block of surface roughness of electric spark
3、 Precautions for use and maintenance: When using the surface roughness comparison block, it should be placed under the same conditions as the inspected part as much as possible (including surface color, lighting conditions, etc.). It is not allowed to directly touch the comparison block with hands, and strict rust prevention treatment should be carried out to prevent rust and avoid scratches.
